RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – Workforce Solutions Lower Rio Grande (WFS), in partnership with the Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation and Rio Grande City Grulla ISD, has been awarded an $85,924 High Demand Job Training (HDJT) Grant from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to expand career training opportunities for students preparing to enter high-demand occupations.

PHARR, Texas – Workforce Solutions Lower Rio Grande (WFS), in partnership with The PossAble Dream Foundation and The PossAble Dream Adult High School, has been awarded a $150,000 Texas Industry Partnership (TIP) Grant from the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to provide workforce training for 22 students pursuing careers in two of the region's most in-demand occupations: HVAC Technician and Medical Assistant.
