2024 Youth Conference - Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

Mission, TX - The 2024 Youth Conference is set to take place on May 21st at 8:30 AM inside the Mission Event Center, with over 1,200 pre-registered students from grades 6th through 12th expected to attend. According to LinkedIn’s 2019 Global Talent Trends report, 89 percent of recruiters say when a hire doesn’t work out, it usually comes down to a lack of soft skills. This year's conference will focus on developing soft skills and introductions to career exploration, with sessions covering communication, time management, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, collaboration, innovation, multi-tasking, and proactivity.

"We're thrilled to present this opportunity for students to hone their soft skills and explore various career options," said Francisco Almaraz, CEO of WFS. "We hope this conference will inspire and empower the next generation of leaders as they embark on their professional journeys."

The conference will feature 12 breakout sessions, a job fair with over 20 different employers, and interactive activities designed to engage and educate attendees while they gain valuable insight into various career paths.

About the Youth Conference: The Youth Conference is an annual event dedicated to helping youth increase their confidence and become effective leaders. Each year, the conference focuses on a different theme and features keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and interactive activities.
