With a projected 8% job growth or a total of 11,833 available jobs in our region over the next decade, the demand for CDL drivers and transportation professionals continues to rise, offering stable employment and competitive wages.

WFS encourages jobseekers to join the Transportation and Trucking Job Fair on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Workforce Solutions Mission, located at 901 Travis St. Suite. 7, Mission, TX 78572. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering a prime opportunity for job seekers to connect with top employers in the industry.

“The trucking and transportation industry plays a critical role in our economy, and the data shows significant growth in job opportunities,” said Francisco Almaraz, Chief Executive Officer of Workforce Solutions. “With strong wages and increasing demand, now is the perfect time to explore career paths in this field. Our goal is to provide job seekers with the resources, connections, and training opportunities they need to succeed.”
